Appointments are required before visiting the Consulate office. Please book through the online system.

Each applicant must have a separate appointment. Including family members.

Applications and supporting documents must be completed in advance as per the Sri Lanka High Commission (Canberra) guidelines. Applications must be signed in front of the Honorary Consul.

Printing & photocopying services are not available at the Consulate office.

If unable to attend, please cancel your appointment by notifying us by message, email, or phone.

Consular Services

 

The Honorary Consulate of Sri Lanka in Queensland provides consular services to Sri Lankan citizens living in Queensland. Below is a list of services offered by the Consulate to assist Sri Lankan residents without the need to travel to high commission of Canberra. The applicant is responsible for posting the attested documentation to high commission of Canberra once the Honorary Consulate has completed the attestation.

Assistance with new passport applications and renewals for Sri Lankan citizens.

Dual Citizenship Application

Submission and attestation of applications for Sri Lankan Dual Citizenship.

Birth Registration

Registration and attestation of births for Sri Lankan citizens living in Queensland.

Driving Licence Application

Attestation of driving licence documentation for Sri Lankan authorities.

Marriage Registration

Registration and attestation of marriages for Sri Lankan citizens.

Death Registration

Registration and attestation of deaths of Sri Lankan citizens.

Police Clearance Application

Submission and attestation for police clearance certificates.

Pension and Life Certificates

Attestation of pension and life certificates for Sri Lankan pension holders.

 
Power of Attorney - Execution / Attestation 

Execution and attestation of Power of Attorney documents for use in Sri Lanka.
