Honorary Consul Nalin Perera Hosts Business Promotion Dialogue for Sri Lanka in Queensland

On March 26, 2026, an engaging and insightful discussion was held in Brisbane with Sri Lankan community leaders, initiated by Mr. Nalin Perera, Honorary Consul for Sri Lanka in Queensland, at Walkway to Ceylon Restaurant. 
 

The gathering brought together distinguished members of the community to exchange ideas and explore opportunities under the discussion theme, “How can we collectively promote Sri Lanka as a promising business destination.” Participants highlighted Sri Lanka’s growing potential in tourism, trade, investment, innovation, and entrepreneurship, while emphasizing the important role of the Sri Lankans in strengthening international business connections and fostering economic collaboration between Sri Lanka and Australia. The event also reinforced the value of unity, networking, and strategic partnerships in promoting Sri Lanka’s image on the global stage.
